AFTER PLACEMENT REVIEW We bought a puppy from Julie and were following a puppy training programme with him in the early days. During the socialisation and desensitising period, he got a fright from a very noisy, large, fast moving vehicle when we were out walking along a main road near our home. This unfortunately was in a critical imprinting period for him (we discovered later) and it led to him developing a phobia of fast vehicles and busy roads. It became increasingly difficult to walk our dog and outings became an ordeal, with him getting spooked by any vehicle he saw or heard. He was constantly straining to get home or back to the car. Nothing we did seemed to help him. This was a major issue for us as we were struggling to give him the exercise he needed and his anxiety around vehicles was impacting his enjoyment of life. We reached out to Julie for help, and having her available for extremely comprehensive support was amazing. We were able to engage her to take him on for some professional training and she helped him through his phobia and anxiety. After Julie's training, the difference in our dog was nothing short of incredible. Julie also provided us with comprehensive advice on how to continue his improvement and she helped us understand the behaviours were were doing that were not helping him, (and in fact were inadvertently encouraging his anxiety). We're now able to walk our dog next to roads with no issues at all and can give him plenty of exercise with ease. He is so much happier too, which is a huge relief to us. There is no way we would have had such a fantastic outcome for our dog without Julie's amazing guidance and support. Karl Bennett
